Matthew P. Andersen obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Media (visual communication and advertising) at Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2019, he acquired Masters degree in Sign Language of Education at Gallaudet University. Matthew is currently teaching at Columbia College Chicago. His work focuses specifically on the language and culture development of younger and upcoming generations of sign language interpreters and Deaf community members. Matthew’s interest also lies in online sign language education/curriculums. His favorite place to do work in the Chicagoland is in its theatre community, which allows him to explore his native language, ASL in an artistic ways.
